1. Acceptance of terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of DigitalSchools.io (the "Service"), operated from Lahore, Pakistan. By creating an account, subscribing to a plan or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and, where applicable, the school, academy or institution you represent.
2. Who can use the Service
The Service is intended for schools, colleges, academies, tuition centres and other educational institutions, and the owners, administrators, teachers, accountants, staff, parents and students they authorise. You must have the authority to bind your institution to these Terms if you are accepting them on its behalf.
3. Accounts and access
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of login credentials issued to your institution and its users.
- Your institution's administrator is responsible for granting and revoking access for teachers, accountants, parents and students within the Service.
- Notify us promptly at mail@digitalschools.io if you suspect unauthorised use of an account.
4. Subscriptions, trials and payments
- New institutions may start with a free trial period. No credit card is required to begin a trial.
- Paid plans are billed in Pakistani Rupees (PKR) according to the plan and student count selected at checkout or agreed with our sales team.
- Accepted payment methods may include JazzCash, Easypaisa, bank transfer, and cash or cheque, as confirmed at the time of subscription.
- Fees are due in advance of each billing period. Continued access after a trial ends requires an active paid subscription.
- Refunds, if any, are handled on a case-by-case basis; contact us to discuss your situation.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service. This includes not attempting to access data belonging to another institution, not disrupting or overloading the Service, not uploading unlawful or harmful content, and not using the Service to violate the rights of students, parents, staff or any third party.
6. School data and content
Your institution retains ownership of the student, staff and financial records it enters into the Service ("Institution Data"). You are responsible for the accuracy of Institution Data and for having the right to submit it, including any necessary consents from parents, guardians or staff. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle this data.
7. Communications and SMS
Where your plan includes SMS or messaging features, you are responsible for using them appropriately and in line with applicable local regulations, including obtaining any consent needed to message parents, students or staff.
8. Service availability
We aim to keep the Service available and reliable, but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance, third-party outages or events outside our control may affect availability from time to time.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DigitalSchools.io is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the fees paid by your institution in the three months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
Either party may stop using or providing the Service by giving notice, subject to any minimum term agreed at subscription. Upon termination, we will provide a reasonable window for you to export your Institution Data before it is deleted from our systems.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to institution administrators. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lahore, Pakistan.
